The Mouse That Defied Space Travel Odds

In 1961, NASA sent a mouse named "Fe, Fi, Fo, and Fum" to orbit the Earth. Astonishingly, it survived the journey. Despite skepticism about the capability of mammals in space, this little mouse became one of the earliest space pioneers, paving the way for more complex life to undertake interstellar travel.
